Garlic Butter
Garlic butter is one of the easiest recipes to make and will be thoroughly enjoyed with snails, vegetables, large shrimp or spread on bread to make garlic bread.
Ingredients
Yield: about 1/2 pound of garlic butter
- 0.5 pound unsalted butter cut in cubes
- 8 cloves garlic
- 1 small parsley bunch, about 1 cup of leaves
- 12 large basil leaves
- Salt and freshly ground pepper, to taste
Instructions
- In the small bowl of a food processor, chop the garlic, parsley and basil leaves. Add the cubed butter, salt, and pepper until the butter is soft and the ingredients are thoroughly combined. Reserve until further use.
Notes
Chef's tip: Always remove the germ of the garlic to avoid the burning garlic flavor and facilitate digestion.
