How OCS Works?
All courses include a learning path with lessons with topics, videos, text for lectures, slides, cheat sheets, course E-books, and additional resources the instructor has uploaded.
Each course includes quizzes, optional assignments, and hands-on exercises to enhance the learning experience of students and test your knowledge.
Course Certificate of completion is generated by students that passed all the course quizzes with a minimum of 70% grade.
Student support is offered through OCS Private Facebook Group and shared with the community. Chef Eric, your French Chef Instructor, creates each OCS course, based on his lifelong professional Chef experience.
After you become a member, you can start any course by logging in and navigating to your My Courses page.

OCS courses are entirely on-demand, which means that you can start any course that interests you and learn at your own pace. You can begin the course whenever you like, and there are no deadlines to complete it, as long your membership is valid. Each course learning path is always updated, and you can carry on your learning whenever you want from My Courses page.
OCS courses can be accessed from several devices and platforms, including cell phones, desktop, laptop, etc.

OCS Youtube channel runs selected cooking videos with advertising and the videos are not part of a course with a learning path. OCS videos run without ads from Vimeo and are part of a course subject and all the OCS course feutures with Chef support.
While OCS is not an accredited institution, we offer skills-based courses taught by experts in their field, and every approved course features an OCS certificate of completion. Certificates can be saved as a .pdf or .jpg file so that you can easily share your accomplishments.
Yes! If you’re not sure if OCS is right for you, we offer a risk free trial for 14 days with unlimited access.Pick a plan; try for free for 14 days and cancel anytime. On the 15th day, your subscription will automatically roll into a paid recurring monthly or yearly subscription.
If you’re not happy with your subscription, you can easily manage if to upgrade, downgrade or cancel after login from “My Subscription” page. We do not offer scholarships at the moment, but it’s something we are considering to implement for 2021.

One of the best things about OCS is that you can login to your account from virtually anywhere, whenever you want, and access your courses easily! We strongly believe that students will benefit from the limitless educational possibilities this feature presents.
Once you are an OCS member, you can enroll in any course in your membership category.
Apprentice Membership gives you unlimited access to all of our online cooking courses, with Chef Eric support. Pro Membership gives you Apprentice benefits plus professional kitchen management courses and one on one short coaching session.
With OCS, you have the freedom to learn at your own pace. OCS is your online culinary school – learn what you want, when you want.
Yes. You will continue to have access to completed courses provided that your account’s in good standing, and OCS continues to have a license to the course. So, if you wish to review specific content in the course after you finish it, or take it all over again, you can.
No. OCS owns all the content rights, so courses are never removed or unless they become very obsolete.
eGift Cards
After payment, you can enter the email of the person to whom we wanted to send the coupon along with a personal message.
Each gift card is generated with a unique coupon code that can be used only once by the recipient.
After login, recipients select the cooking course they want to start and follow the learning path or browse through it if they don’t want to follow the structured order.
To redeem your egift card coupon, buy the Apprentice or Pro subscription, and apply your unique coupon code.
Your subscription and access start right after you redeem your gift card coupon code.
All gift cards are non-transferable or refundable.
