Fresh Salsa - Salsa Fresca
Salsa is a spicy, often tomato-based, hot sauces typical of Hispanic cuisine, particularly those used as dips. Salsa is always made of raw ingredients. Special care should be taken in the preparation and storage of salsa since many raw-served varieties can act as a growth medium for potentially dangerous bacteria, especially when un-refrigerated.

Notes
This sauce is served with Mexican dishes. Try it; it is so simple and refreshing. It will taste nothing like the salsa that you buy at the supermarket.
