Cooking Tips for Avocado and Shrimps with Cocktail Sauce

  1. Choose Ripe Avocados: Select avocados that are slightly soft to the touch but not mushy. A ripe avocado will add a creamy texture to the dish.
  2. Cook Shrimps Properly: When cooking shrimp, be careful not to overcook them. They should turn pink and opaque. This usually takes just 2-3 minutes per side.
  3. Homemade Cocktail Sauce: For an extra flavor boost, make your cocktail sauce using ketchup, horseradish, lemon juice, and a dash of Worcestershire sauce. Adjust to taste!
  4. Chill the Ingredients: For the best flavor, chill both the shrimp and avocado before assembling the dish. Cold ingredients enhance the overall refreshing taste.
  5. Garnish Smartly: Add a sprinkle of fresh herbs like cilantro or parsley to elevate the presentation and add a fresh flavor contrast.
  6. Serve Immediately: This dish is best served fresh. Assemble right before serving to prevent the avocado from browning.
