Ingredients
Yield 1 cup
- 3 medium red jalapenos, seeded and coarsely chopped
- 3 medium green jalapenos, seeded and coarsely chopped
- 0.5 teaspoon oregano leaves
- 0.5 teaspoon salt
- 0.15 yellow onion, chopped fine
- 2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
- 0.5 tablespoon white vinegar
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions
- Combine the chilies in a bowl with oregano, salt, onion and garlic. Heat the vinegar just until bubbles appear around the edge. Pour over the chili mixture, and then stir in the olive oil. Let cool to room temperature.
- Good with seafood either grilled or stewed, barbecued meats, rice and bean dishes.
