Instructions
To prepare the apple compote, peel, core, and slice the apples. Place sliced apples, sugar, water, lemon juice, and cinnamon in a pan and cover with a tight-fitting lid. Cook, for approximately 25 minutes on moderate heat, stirring from time to time. If the texture is too thin, continue to simmer until thick.
Notes
For a smooth consistency, use a hand blender to process it.
Depending on the sweetness of the fruit, you may adjust the amount of sugar used.
